Hi, I’m Tater

Meet Tater, a charming male Abyssinian guinea pig known for his distinctive rosetted coat and big personality! Tater is curious, vocal, and thrives on attention. He enjoys gentle handling, exploring hideouts, and munching on fresh veggies - parsley and bell peppers are among his favorites.

Tater is a social creature and would do well with a neutered male or female companion (proper introductions required), or he can be adopted solo by someone committed to giving him plenty of interaction and enrichment.

Tater's Care Needs:

Diet: Unlimited hay, daily fresh vegetables, quality guinea pig pellets, and access to clean water.

Housing: A spacious, well-ventilated enclosure - at least 7.5 square feet for a single pig, more if paired.

Bedding: Soft, absorbent bedding like paper-based or fleece liners (no cedar or pine shavings).

Enrichment: Tunnels, chew toys, and floor-time outside the cage are important for his mental and physical well-being.

Health: Guinea pigs need regular nail trims and should be monitored for signs of dental or respiratory issues.

Tater is an indoor-only pet and must live in a temperature-controlled, predator-free environment. Guinea pigs are prey animals, so his new home should be calm and secure, with no rough handling or excessive noise.

Please note: As part of the adoption process, you'll be asked to upload clear photos of Tater's new setup, including his cage, accessories, and general environment. This helps ensure he's going to a safe, suitable home.
