Ruby is a beautiful Golden Retriever with a gentle soul and a heart that's slowly learning to trust again. Coming from a difficult background, Ruby is a shy girl who's looking for a calm, quiet, and understanding home where she can feel safe and supported.
She will need a home with a confident, social dog by her side to help guide her and show her the ropes. Ruby has some complex behaviour needs and will need a dog-savvy owner who can offer patience, structure, and lots of love as she continues her journey toward healing and confidence.
While she may take time to open up, the bond you'll build with Ruby will be incredibly rewarding. If you have experience with shy or anxious dogs and a peaceful home environment, Ruby could be the gentle, loyal companion you've been waiting for.

- A property check may be required before ADOPTION to ensure the safety and welfare of adoption animals. Rental agreements allowing pets will be required for adoptions into rental properties. Differential pricing may apply.

- While our shelters are open, not every pet available for adoption will be onsite and available in person. To express your interest, Apply to Adopt online and if it's a perfect match you will be shortlisted and contacted via phone by our Adoption Team to discuss the animal in detail.
